Problems and actualities of the new product pricing are analyzed in this final master thesis. Pricing, pricing strategy, the conception of price and a new product, Lithuanian and foreign authors proposed pricing models and methodology are analyzed in a theoretical analytical part of this final thesis. In a second part author of this final master thesis presents a new product final price determination model for a companies which operates in a oligopolistic market. In order to find out all the new product‘s pricing peculiarities, company producing malt is chosen and analyzed. Product‘s background analysis discloses a lot of important information such as potential material suppliers, customers, it is also evaluates beer and malt production and consumption in Lithuania and in foreign markets, the need, price and government support for malting barley market. Main competitors are described, business background analysis is made. Beer and malt producing companies business future prospects in Lithuania and foreign markets are evaluated. In a practical part it is calculated the prime cost of malt, discussed about the main factors, which influences prime costs and price the most, new pricing strategy for the company is proposed, determined the final price of the product, it is also given a new product‘s final price determination model which is recommended by author of the thesis. Proposals and conclusions are given in the end of this master thesis.
