Piezoelectric vibromotors and investigation of their dynamics

The review of a piezoelectric vibromotors (PVBM) and a principle of their action is presented in this article. It was reviewed PVBM, in which has been applied piezoelectric vibration’s converter (VC) slanting impact of to a moved element - to a plate, tape or rotor, and also PVBM with piezoelectric VC with divided electrodes. Also was reviewed designs PVBM with rotors containing resonator (as a plate, or thin beam).

Dynamical model of the system “roller–band” of rolamite PVBM in the case of deformed contact between bodies was presented and described by differential equations and investigated.

Theoretical research proved: from entered in the system "roller-band" of rolamite PVBM parame¬ters of vibrations depends as quickly bodies of system achieve non-slipping zone and that means, that non-slip¬ping zone can be operated by excitation of vibrations; Increasing amplitude of vibrations the force of friction between bodies of system is decreasing; the zone of slip¬ping between bodies of system is increasing; magnitude of efficiency is decreasing.

The experimental research of dynamical processes of the system "roller-band" of fixed and spinning vibrating rollers wrapped by a flexible band was conducted by the method of laser interferometry. It is established that the increase of supply voltage amplitude, decrease of the force load value of the flexible band, and decrease of the wrapping angle of the roller by flexible band may cause the increasing of amplitude of roller oscillations.

It is experimental definite that the value of non-synchronicity of rotation of rotors mostly grows in elementary PVBM with two rotors, least − in rolamite PVBM, in which the converter of longitudinal fluctuations rotates both ro¬tors. The variant of rolamite vibromotor, in which the piezoelectric VC rotates both rotors, is optimum.

The synthesis of the rolamite type mechanism and vibromotor allows to design qualitatively new original me¬cha¬nisms.
