Rapeseed oil and its blends with diesel fuel injection test process

The main purpose of this work was to investigate the fuel injection equipment performance on rapeseed oil and its blends with mineral diesel fuel: changes in biofuel sprays penetration maximum injection pressure at the injector and duration of injection process. Experiments were carried out using diesel fuel, rapeseed oil and its mixtures. Experiments showed, that when injecting biofueling 25%, 50% and 75% rapeseed oil, maximum injection pressure at the injector increases by 1,6%, 8,1%, 10,6% accordingly. By injecting pure rapeseed oil, the injection pressure increase by 22,1%. maximum torque mode. When injecting rapeseed oil and its blends with mineral diesel fuel, injection duration increases maximally by 4 of engine crankshaft rotation angle. When the standard fuel apparatus is injection rapeseed oil, jet length and width of most of the modes, is less than mineral diesel.
