In order to produce an environmentally friendly and high quality apiary products there are made an intensive searches of new, natural and effective supplements, syrups and additives. One of these preparations could be a blue-green algae Spirulina platensis. There are not enough researches about the influence of the preparation on apiary that’s why studies on Spirulina platensis are relevant to the scientific and practical point of view.

The aim of this work is to explore the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis fresh biomass influence for the development of apiary and quality of honey. To achieve this goal the following tasks are: to assess the impact of the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis to queen productivity, to find out the influence of the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis to worker-bees chemical composition, to assess the influence of the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis on honey production.

The study found that of the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis extensive preparation accelerates the development of apiary. The queen’s that received the blue-green algae Spirulina platensis productivity increased 35.5 percent. The product reduces heavy metal content of cell colonies in the dry material. The preparation blue-green algae Spirulina platensis increased the production of honey bees 21.8 percent and the diastase activity of 1.2 unit of Goth.
