The Master‘s paper work focuses on the component of library personnel management in library‘s reputation management. This topic is actual as the library that plans and organizes personnel management, takes care of employees‘ motivation, management of intellectual capital, selects appropriate internal communication means, may manage library‘s reputation in a proper direction. The object of the master‘s paper is the personnel management in the management of library‘s reputation. The target of the work is to investigate the personnel management in the management of library‘s reputation. The tasks set: to find out the main aspects of the organization reputation management; to analyse elements of the organization‘s personnel management; to evaluate interrelation of the personnel management and the library‘s reputation; to evaluate and forecast the present/future influence of the personnel management to the reputation management on the Lithuanian example; to analyse adaptability of the personnel management in improving the reputation management in other libraries. Using the analysis of documents, documentary sources, deduction and induction methods, it was determined that the reputation management involving such components as personnel management, communicational systems, services rendered, strategy of an organization, marketing, finances, etc., have also to communicate with personnel to make an influence to the external communication as well. Also, it was evaluated how the reputation management may be related to the personnel management. It is a reciprocal interrelation when creating the strategy of the reputation management, using a plan prepared for communication with the personnel, the employees are involved into the entire activity. Delphi survey „Personnel Management in Lithuanian county libraries‘ reputation management“ allows making assumptions that it is possible to create strategies of reputation management involving personnel management elements. The examined public libraries of Lithuanian counties have an appropriate basis that may help other libraries to take care of their reputation using an intangible resource which is personnel. The most important thing to manage the library‘s reputation is good services rendered by professional and skilled specialists. Applying the analysis of one case, Lithuanian Library for the Blind was selected. After analysing attitude of the employees to the internal communication of the library, used internal communication means in the personnel management, the scheme of the personnel management in the reputation management of Lithuanian Library for the Blind and the discussed issue of formation of the reputation with the help of personnel management are presented. It has been determined that using the elements of the personnel management, selecting appropriate means of communication, the library‘s reputation may be managed and controlled in other libraries as well.
