Sąmonės samprata Arono Gurwitschiaus fenomenologijoje
Concept of consciousness in Aron Gurwitsch's phenomenology
| Santrauka [EN] |
This paper is dedicated to examine Aron Gurwitsch‘s conception of consciousness. Consciousness is understood as unity of acts of consciousness or stream of consciousness. This work analyses conception of intentional consciousness based on Gurwitsch‘s critique on hyle and morfe‘s dualism. The structure of the field of consciousness is also introduced and the concept of non-egological consciousness is analyzed.
The goal of reduction in non-egological conception of consciousness is not to reveal the transcendental ego as an indubitable foundation, bo to reveal the field of consciousness – the correlation of experiences and objects – as a field of reflections and descriptions. Hyle and morfe critique, which was common to the early philosophy of Edmund Husserl, reveals that every act of consciousness, as a real psychological event is a noesis, which is intentionally correlated with noema. Non-egological consciousness is intentional.
There is no sub-consciousness or anything unrelated to consciousness in phenomenology, just consciousness which is not apprehended, which can be apprehended by the means of reflection. Being conscious or sub-conscious in Gurwitsch‘s phenomenology is described as self-awareness of experience.
