In the Master's thesis are investigated cylindrical gyrotropic waveguides.

Analyzed the literature about the waveguides and devices. Presented known gyrotropic waveguides electrodynamic and mathematical models. Created and tested 4 algorithms, and 4 programs, for dispersion and losses characteristics calculations.

In the work are calculated dispersion and losses characteristics of the waves propagations in the dielectric, p and n type semiconductor, semiconductor-dielectric ferrite, ferrite-dielectric structures waveguides.

The work consists of 9 parts: Signs and abbreviations; 1. Introduction; 2. Literature analysis of the gyrotropic waveguides and devices overview; 3. Gyrotropic waveguides materials; 4. Dispersion equations analysis of the waves. Algorithms and programs creation for the characteristics calculations; 5. Dispersion and losses characteristics calculations and analysis; 6. Conclusions; References; Appendixes.

Thesis consist of: 89 p. text without appendixes, 52 pictures, 11 tables, 46 bibliographical entries. Appendixes included.
