Cable-stayed bridge construction is one of the most effective bridge – building. It is characterized by the large span length, a relatively low cost of steel, flexible and flowing forms. General cable-stayed bridges weaknesses are a high axial strength and stiffness of the beam and pylon high and dependence on the core span length. The work creates and examines the combined cable-stayed bridge structure of mixed cable system and the design of cable trussed system. There is given the classic cable-stayed bridge analysis of stress, strain and cost values, and a comparison with the new form of combined cable-stayed bridge. There is createda new design of combined-cable-stayed bridge preliminary design methodology.

The work consists of introduction, cable-stayed and composite cable-stayed steel bridge structures overview and description of the methods of calculation, one pylon cable-stayed and a combined cable-stayed pedestrian steel bridge behavior analysis, classical cable-stayed and a combined cable-stayed with combined cable trussed pedestrian steel bridge behavior analysis, technical evaluation of economic efficiency and search of rational parameters (preliminary design).
