Publishing is a public, social and private field of the culture and production including preparation of publications for the press, their production, formation and announcement of the documents. Every publishing system consists of publishing offices and publishers. Publisher is a person, publishing office or other institution which has a right to publish and which is responsible for the publication and distribution of a book; publishing office is an institution of printings and other documents publishing, which also has editing, production, administration and marketing departments. The following goals were raised to achieve the objective: • To evaluate the place of publishing offices in the market; • To determine the concept of the image of publishing office; • To analyze the importance of an image to the publishing office; • To identify the elements, which help to form the image of publishing office; • To emphasize the measures which help to strengthen the image of publishing office. It is possible to make the conclusion, that image formation for the publishing offices is a necessity, as these institutions like the others need to create it.
