The problem of the research. How the participation in the projective activity influences the

professional competence of teachers?

The aim of the research. To reveal the role of projective activity for the professional teacher

competence in general education schools.

Active education is the necessity of the dynamic, fast shifting reality nowadays. The project

method is one of the main active teaching methods that help to join education with practice.

Generally the aim at schools is to purvey as much knowledge as possible without teaching the

skill of putting that knowledge to practice. One of the means to solve the problem is to use the

active teaching method.

Thus the role of the teacher in today’s society changes in the course of educational process.

The teacher should not be the irreplaceable source of information but the creator of educational

opportunities, an assistant. He is the main person helping to seek the quality of the education.

It is important to note that large investment in education may not approve itself if the teacher

is not ready to use it properly. That is why it is necessary to give teachers an opportunity to

improve professional competence constantly.

After the reasearch it was established:

The research revealed that teacher competence is directly responsible for future student’s

education. The teacher should be able to organize the educational process to reveal general

student’s abilities.

The projective activity in general education schools is a great opportunity to reveal abilities

for teachers as well as pupils. The participation in such activities helps teachers to understand

pupils better, and for pupils it is the easier way to soak the information and to solve various

problems independently.
