Formation of internal image of the employer at the financial institution

In the competitive business environment organizations seek to use every possible advantage for possible success. One of the ways to acquire competitive advantage is attraction and keeping of suitable employees using organization’s as employers, image.

This thesis focuses on identification of internal employer image theoretical presumptions, investigation of features of internal employer image of financial institution, formation process and naming further development stages.

Problem of the thesis - what internal image of the employer is, how it is formed, which features of internal employer image influence employer attractiveness and employer commitment at financial institution.

Objective of the thesis – to investigate features of employer -financial institution and formation ways of internal image of the employer.

Tasks:

1. To analyze essence of internal image of the employer and its formation ways;

2. Identify internal image features of financial institution as an employer;

3. To establish the way how internal image features of the employer influence employer attractiveness and employer commitment for organization at financial institution;

4. To submit recommendations for formation of internal image of the employer – financial institution.

Aim of empirical investigation – to perform primary stages of employer image formation, i.e. to identify features of internal employer image, which influence employer attractiveness and employer commitment at financial institution.

Two methods were chosen: qualitative, structured extended interview with management of the financial institution and quantitative, using survey in writing, with employees of the financial institution.

The results revealed that, the employees mostly value those internal features of employer image stability, social responsibility and reliability and obligation of employees is influenced by reliability and well – nature and employer attractiveness – only reliability.

The recommendation is – to practice the formative model while forming internal image of the employer.
